Early & Mid 20th Century Panoramic Photographs of US Fire Departments

These are great photos in the panoramic style used in the early to mid 20th century. Some showcasing old apparatus going out with new coming in. Another popular panoramic was photographing the entire department at one time. I hope you enjoy these 9 photographs as much as I did.

  • Researching family history – my great uncle, Pete Harris, was Bradenton’s first fire chief and I’m looking for information or photos from the 1930′s or later, which may show or tell of his service.

    Thank you,

  • Fire chief Harris’s given name was Albert W. Harris although I had always known him as Uncle Pete.
